Let's Play Beetle

Description

This is an old dice game that is great fun to play with children, especially in the summer when the beetles like to scamper about!

The idea is that a coordinating part of the beetle is drawn with a certain roll of the dice. The player that draws their beetle first wins and shouts "BEETLE"- of course you can make your own rules!

Instead of traditionally using paper, I made these homemade chalkboards out of poplar with AP Certified non-toxic chalk paint. I handcarved a simple beetle stamp and stamped up the back but left the wood unsealed in case you would like me to personlize the boards with a child's name.

Included in the set:

Handmade wood dice- nice and chunky
2 handmade poplar chalkboards
2 flannel scraps to use to wipe the boards
bag of chalk
instructions- all in another cotton muslin bag

Great for the car also! Pair this up with my bug tokens and you have a buggy good time!
