Black and White Bird Dessert Plates

Description

These hand built stoneware plates are glazed in white on white, or white on black. I have currently 2 white birds, and 2 B&W birds in stock right now; please specify which one(s) you want in 'message to seller' as you check out. I really like them in pairs because the contrast is elegant and dramatic. The price listed is for 1 plate. If you need larger quantities than these, convo me, and I will make a reserve listing for you.

My birds are made with lace pressed into clay, and each is cut by hand, and a thrown foot rim is added. No two are exactly alike. They are 7" D, but since part of the diameter is cut out, they hold a piece of cake, cut fruit, or cookies nicely, but only half of a sandwich.

All of my glazes are formulated for maximum durability, and this piece will be as rich and glossy 100 years from now. I offer complimentary gift wrapping if you like, and always enclose a studio card that lets you know it is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe.
