Description

Our rattles are turned from a solid piece of natural wood; there are no adhesives, stains, dyes used. My first rattles went to my Granddaughters for rigorous testing. I had to change the design slightly to allow for fitting in their hands better. I found that almost immediately the rattle went straight to their mouths (6 months old). I sand the rattles to a very smooth finish so they are comfortable in the hand or mouth. There are no finishes applied to flake off or make for a bad taste in the mouth. I give them a slight buffing to highlight the appearance of the natural wood (to please Mom, the baby could care less).
If you have a preference in the type of wood used, please ask. Remember, I do nothing to change the natural color or grain patterns. If you think cherry is that deep red you see on furniture today – it really isn’t in its natural state. Enjoy; I am sure your special little one will - ours did. They make wonderful keepsakes for their Mom's too.

This rattle is 4 5/8" tall and 1 3/8" tall at widest point.
