Star Flower Necklace - freshwater coin pearl and sterling silver
Description
A single freshwater coin pearl rests in the center of this flower. Named for its five pointed petals, this necklace is a delicate and feminine beauty. The surface is worn, but shiny, a combination created by sanding and polishing, then sanding and polishing again. Neither matte, nor smooth, the petals are somehow both.Petals were constructed by carefully bending and soldering a long piece of sterling silver wire.
Sterling silver chain is about 16.5" long (42 cm). Please contact me if you would like to modify the length of the chain.
Dimensions of pendant are about 1.5" in diameter (about 3.5 cm) in diameter. Coin pearl is about 8 mm in diameter.
Clasp is a sterling silver lobster claw style.
