Original Illustration, Girl with red coat

Description

This big-eyed girl, and the cardinal, are having a hard time staying upright in this crazy wind!

This is an original illustration created on a vintage book page from 1949. I used ink and lots of layers of transparent acrylic to build up the rich color of her coat.

The page measures 5" x 8" (12.5 x 20cms) and will be mounted on creme cardstock to add some sturdiness, and make it easier to frame. Drawing will be sprayed with fixative to protect it for many years to come. I will sign and date it on the back.
