He isn't a traditional Bluebird but he can bring a bit of happiness into your life. It's hard not to smile when you look at him. Sitting on your desk, he will hold a lot of mail, business cards or whatever you want to keep at your fingertips. He would be a bright addition to your kitchen to keep recipe cards organized.
Sculpted with a wonderful shade of turquoise polymer clay over a wood ball base, his head and rear are attached to a 1 1/4 inch diameter metal spring in a matching turquoise. After curing, I used a varathane finish for shine and protection.
He is 4 1/2 inches long (from tip of nose to end of tail), 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall (to tip of tail). The spring stretches out over 12 inches.
If he gets a little dirty you can clean him with a damp cloth. If necessary, a bit of mild liquid detergent can be used. Never submerge him in water or use harsh chemicals for cleaning.
