Vintage Butterfly Necklace - Beautifully Detailed Vermeil Butterfly With 14K Gold Filled Chain - OOAK

I 're-purposed' this beautiful, vintage butterfly into a more practical form - a necklace!
The 'open metalwork' butterfly is made of Vermeil, (24K over Sterling Silver), and has a protective coating that has lasted impeccably after all these years, It measures approximately 2" wide by 1 1/2" tall.
I chose a perfectly proportioned 'Rolo' chain in 14K gold Filled to compliment the lovely piece. The chain is 18" long, but if measured end to end, (including the butterfly), it is approximately 20". In other words, because of the width of the butterfly, this necklace falls about where an 18" necklace would. I attached a lobster clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag to it. As always, I can adjust the length for you, just leave me a message when you check out.

This is my own 'altered art' design, so you aren't likely to find it anywhere else! This is a one-of-a-kind item, (unless I can get my hands on another butterfly, LOL!)
