Simple, refined, and full of more depth than perhaps first given credit for, this necklace reminds me of Anne Elliot, the heroine of my favorite Jane Austen novel, Persuasion. Now, I've never met an Austen novel I didn't like, but this one holds a very special place in my heart. I hope this necklace may do the same for you.

A single large freshwater pearl, handwrapped in sterling silver wire, hangs from an extremely delicate (but sturdy) sterling silver chain. The whole is finished off with a sterling silver S-clasp. The pearl itself is just lovely; a nearly half-inch long nugget pearl with a flat back that will lay perfectly against your neck and wonderful white color with a hint of iridescence (not as pink as in the pictures.) All sterling silver components.

This necklace pairs just as nicely with an polo shirt as with an evening dress. The only persuasion you will need will be to take off this versatile necklace at the end of a day.
