Love Spell Bangle
Description
Sterling silver, oval bangle featuring a knot of Heracles and covered in twisting grapevines. The interior of the bracelet is 2 3/4" in diameter.The Heracles knot is a symbol dating back to 3rd century B.C.Greece and Rome. It was considered a protective amulet, and symbol of love and marriage. It represented a feminine rite of passage and was often worn by brides on their wedding day; thus originating the phrase "tying the knot."
