This ONE OF A KIND little red coat is perfect for crisp fall days! It's made of a soft brushed canvas, with a soft canvas lining spotted with images of Little Red Riding Hood! Both are very thick and durable and should keep your little one toasty warm. The sleeves are lined with a soft thin cotton to make it easier for tiny arms to get in and out, and there is even a little pocket inside for tiny treasures! The adorable peter pan collar is the perfect shape to frame any little cutie.

The outside of the coat is trimmed with a rouched red cotton that has little pulls, as well as a navy & red ribbon & piping. The back has two ribbons securely stitched into the yoke seam, and big red buttons. When closed, the coat appears to be buttoned up but in actuality the closures are big kid-friendly snaps that go nearly to the bottom of the coat - making it incredibly easy for your child to get on but especially off -- all she has to do is pull!

There's even a little loop on the inside (the red cotton) so your daughter can hang it up at school. :)

Both the sleeves and the hem are bubbled and puffy, and the sleeves are 3/4 length - making those autumn walks a fantastic time to run around in this coat! This coat is super comfy and there is lots of room inside for any outfit underneath - wear it with a long-sleeve shirt as shown to get a cool layered affect. Your child is sure to love this coat just as much as you do, and she will look absolutely gorgeous in it!

This coat is made with an INDUSTRIAL GRADE sewing machine, coverstitch, and serger, and care has been taken to ensure it lasts for a long time. I drafted these patterns by hand, as well as assembled and sewed this garment, so you can be sure your daughter will be the only one out there with such a classy unique coat!

neckline - 15 1/2 (+ 1" snap overlap on left)
shoulder- 2 3/8"

sleeve length, underarm - around 5" (bubble hem)
sleeve diameter - 14"
collar length front - 3 3/4"
collar length back - 3 1/2"
bust (front, while closed) - 9 3/4"
bust (back, along blue piping) - 11"
bottom hem - 43"

Though the fabric has been preshrunk & should hold up in a dryer, please please PLEASE do this with care, as I cannot accept returns because your washing machine ate it. My advice is to wash this coat on a gentle cycle with cold water and let it hang to dry!!
