14 KT gold filled Multi Sapphire Hand wrap Necklace 54 inches long

Fashioned from 14 carat gold filled and multi sapphires faceted rondelles.

This piece of jewellery features a long strand with 14 carat gold filled beads, AAA multi sapphires rondelles, hessonite garnet rondelles, citrine rondelles and moonstone rondelles, mixed freshwater pearls in white, gold and mauve colours falling to a length of 54 inches it can be worn as a single necklace or double loop.

The name of sapphire comes from the Greek sappheiros, which means "dark blue". Despite its name expressing only one out of its numerous colors, the color palette of the sapphire strikes ones imagination by its variety: blue-purple, green, yellow, clear, orange and pink-orange. The sapphire is considered to be the symbol of power, obedience, fidelity, chastity, and in the medieval times, it was called the "Stone of Bishop" and believed to be a stone of higher spiritual values.

I included a photo of Fort San Felipe del Morro —or El Castillo San Felipe del Morro in Spanish— is a sixteenth-century citadel which lies on the northwestern-most point of the islet of San Juan, Puerto Rico. You could found in my necklace all the blue tones of the Atlantic Ocean and all the earthy tones of the fort.
