Peyote Burst - Bridal Colors

Description

This is a finished necklace of my popular Peyote Burst pattern, published on the cover of the April/May 2008 issue of Beadwork magazine.

A soft, muted palette of cream and light yellow beads accents the rich, buttery Swarovski crystal pearls at each flower's center. Each flower is stitched one at a time, with each individual petal being made from either peyote stitch or a fringe technique. They are then strung together on nylon coated stainless steel beading wire and accented with new and vintage Czech pressed glass beads and gold-filled spacer beads.

Measuring at approximately 19" long, this necklace doesn't necessarily have to be for a bride - it also looks great with jeans and a t-shirt!
