On the way back from internet shopping, we picked up a new obsession....wax seals! They feel so old timey. I mean REALLY old timey. Like "ye olde timey" not just "thars gold in dem thar hills" old timey. They're even traced back to ancient times. Though they were once used to verify authenticity, these days they just make a handwritten letter look cool and unique.


Our owl-sealed notecards are perfect for the owl lover in your life or as invitations for that Harry Potter party you're throwing. The owl is stamped in burgundy wax and highlighted in silver to enhance the detailed engraving.

-folded with blank interior
-size 4 bar/A1: 3 1/2 x 4 7/8"
-white
-90 lb.
-acid-free
-100% cotton, tree-free
-smooth, slightly mottled texture, pleasant for pen/pencil letter-writing


3 Envelopes:
-size 4 bar/A1: 3 5/8 x 5 1/8"
-silver
-pointed flap

The sealing wax is flexible and mail-friendly so you won't have to worry about it cracking or slipping off of the card while in transit. The wax was flame-melted and dripped directly onto the card; it is not a peel and stick seal or glue stick wax.


The stork might deliver the babies, but the owl brings in the fun mail!
