In a Knit-a-Long themed on A Midsummer Night's Dream, I was contemplating Puck and a *shiny* but conservative roving. The literary theory to spring from this: Robin Goodfellow, though introduced as a serious mischief-maker, is actually the most responsible character in Shakespeare's play.
Everyone else meddles for their motives.

I added a little chaos to the roving as I spun. That direct little fellow ("I'll put a girdle round the earth in thirty minutes!") has a touch of whimsy, sure, but most of his colors are solid with a little sheen.

This is a gluttony of fiber-kinds: naturally off-white wool as well as white, silk/cotton/bamboo/tencel (not sure which or how many), bits of merino, Corriedale and blue-jean junk as well as cotton/polyester thread junk.
