Porcelain Bird OWL Silhouette Vase
Description
I made a small batch of these bird silhouette vases and I'm very happy with how they came out. Made on the potter's wheel, painted with black slip (liquefied clay) and carved so the white porcelain beneath it is shown. It was glazed with a bright orange on the inside and over the owl silhouette and a clear glaze over the rest.It measures almost 3 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide.
