Hand Carved Unicorn

Description

This Hand Carved Unicorn is sure to inspire hours of adventuresome, imaginative play. Carved from solid Sassafras, the Unicorn is approximately 4 inches long, 5 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches thick.

Safety
I sand each toy silky-smooth and round all edges for safety. I use only domestic hardwoods - no pine, breakable parts, paint, or stain. The finish is non-toxic mineral oil and locally produced beeswax.

Quality
This toy should last for several generations! I will happily repair or replace anything that breaks during normal use.

About the materials used:
Sassafras is a domestic hardwood that is typically gentle light tan color. It is of medium hardness and is known for its pleasing odor and beautiful luster.

The beeswax finish I use is a blend of non-toxic mineral oil and beeswax. I purchase the beeswax from a local beekeeper and make the finish myself.
