Victorian gothic textile wrist cuff with antique lace - The Worst Pies in London
Description
Inspired by Mrs. Lovett's costume in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd, this cut-throat red cuff combines three kinds of hand-dyed, vintage and antique lace. A grouping of antique velvet millinery leaves feature in the corner, topped with a worn out and rustic horn button from the 1920s.A length of antique cord trim in cream and red trails the length of the wrist cuff, coming to meet a single silk flower blossom. Two vintage sequins provide highlight, and the whole cuff is backed with hand-dyed, vintage wool felt in a rich dark chocolate brown.
The wrist cuff is organic in shape and measures approximately 165mm in length and 50mm in width, not including clasp. It closes with a previously un-used 1920s fur stole clasp.
Fits a medium to small wrist.
