Isola Segreta.
The Secret Island.

Just that one liner from Cornelia Funke's book, The Thief Lord, set me thinking. What if I had my very own Secret Island?

A haven from the rest of the world. Inky blue water with promises of secrets yet untold. The subtle glint of copper and gold. The rhythmic lapping of frothy, sun-kissed waves. Of course, there'd be intriguing formations of foliage that create a labyrith-like effect around my Isola Segreta. Flora and fauna mingle with bramble and vine.

In as much as I wanted to maintain an aura of mystery with Isola Segreta, it was also my intent to infuse an element of light, of fun, to recapture that sense of Joie de Vivre which adults often misplace as they take on life's challenges.

And so you have it, Sheela's Isola Segreta. My Secret Island is a composition of the following elements:-

>> 59mm Polished Labradorite Focal (that schiller is SO breathtaking that I had major issues in trying to capture it on camera)

>> Pyrite
>> Peridot
>> Moss Aquamarine
>> Spectrolite
>> Blue Flash Labradorite
>> Citrine
>> Mystic Labradorite
>> Mystic Teal Quartz
>> Polished Kyanite
>> Scapolite

Classic on a macro level, this Y-style necklace has been funked up with touches of the unexpected. Such as, you ask? Well, such as the asymmetrical placements of gemstones in the chain portion. The Citrines bedecking that hand-fashioned Clasp. And just for that touch of *something, something*, both the bail as well as circlet have been adorned with an extra wrap of 14k Gold Filled. That against the darkly Oxidised Silver makes for a starkly divine contrast.

Beautiful, dahlink, just beautiful.

Sultry in appearance, Isola Segreta can be worn in several lengths as she's adjustable from 16.5" to 20". This, of course, can be tailored to your preference, but you knew that :) and that sexy waterfall of gems cascades an approximate 7.5" Southwards, achieving the look of femme fatale effortlessly. Wires used are 999 Fine Silver and 14K Gold Filled whilst Chains are 925 Sterling.
