This rope necklace has been hand-braided in mustard, cream and sage green cotton/acrylic yarn using traditional japanese techniques. The ends are adorned with mustard suede tabs that lead to a stone canyon jasper cabochon from California and a spear shaped orthoceras stone...fossilized squid! Orthoceras ("straight horn") is a genus of extinct nautiloid cephalopod.
