Oceanus Scarf

Description

Ancient Romans and Greeks believed that one river, Okeanos (Oceanus), circled the world as the planet's sole sea. All the seas of our world are reflected in the deep indigos and greens of this incredibly soft and super long wool scarf.

I hand knit this scarf using a luscious 100% wool yarn, spun thick and thin, kettle dyed in shifting shades of deepest indigo to opulent sea green. So so soft!

Approx. 99” (~251.46 cm) in length, 8” (20.32 cm) wide when flat, with a very generous 10-12" (25.40-30.48 cm) fringe on either end (making the total length 129-133" or 327.66-337.82 cm !!!).

The sky is the limit with this much scarf - wrap twice, three times, maybe even four! Bundle up with your jeans and crocs against the chill to beat everyone to the farmer's market, or show off your inner fashionista on a night out on the town.

Dryclean or handwash ONLY in cold water using a gentle delicates or wool wash. Dry flat. If you treat this scarf well, it will treat you well for years and years to come.
