Airship Pilot's Sweetheart Locket

Description

This Victorian or steampunk necklace began with the find of the half heart locket with silver star on it. I paired it with a circular locket carefully filling half the locket with resin and steampunk goodies. On the other half is a genuine antique tintype from the late 1800's. It has been sealed and protected with resin as well. The round locket dangles gracefully from the heart and can be gently closed if you wish. The heart has been riveted to the handshake stamping and it all hangs from the 18" double chain which closes with a lobster-style safety clasp. Centerpiece is roughly 3 3/4" by 1 1/2" with the circle locket open. I am a trained, if somewhat romantic, silversmith and have built this piece to last.
