Description
This worsted weight wool yarn is hand painted in shades of purple, lavender, and violet and is called "Purple Rain.It is wool, and I often make socks from this yarn, and they get softer with wear and washing. I also have a customer who crochets capris for babies and toddlers using this yarn , so although it is not merino, it is still very soft and feels comfortable next to the skin.

Length: 217 Yards
Gauge: size 7 needle=5 stitches per inch, size 8 needles = 4 1/2 stitches per inch.
