Maiden with her Harvest Basket- Waldorf inspired wool needle felted standing doll - fairy girl

Description

With a basket of freshly picked, lettuce, corn, grapes, carrots radishes and a bright sunflower, the harvest maiden arrives! Her apron is adorned with twin bunnies, carrots and sunflowers and flowers adorn her long flowing locks of hair.

This lovely creation is artist-made from organic batting and hand dyed wools. She stands a little over 9 1/2"tall with her cranberry gown flowing about 2" behind her in an elegant train. The absence of details on her face is in the Waldorf tradition, leaving her mood and expression to your imagination.

She will enhance Thanksgiving Feast decor, a nature table, child's room, become part of gentle puppet play and become an heirloom collectible for generations to come. She has bendable arms, so she and her basket can be positioned as the imagination dictates.

Each of my pieces is truly one of a kind. No patterns, glue or thread were used.
