Sapphire Blue and Silver Pod Bracelet

Description

Traditional peyote stitch done in the round takes on a contemporary, sculptural quality due to the combination of large and small beads that creates the appearance of podlike shapes strung along a chain. The bracelet is actually a continuous rope of peyote stitch which is finished off with sterling silver bead caps and a sterling silver toggle clasp.

Shades of blue, teal, and pink are accented by tiny foil lined glass beads between each "pod" on the bracelet. All the beads are glass, all the metal is sterling silver and all the thread used is sturdy nymo.

Dimensions: When laid out flat, the bracelet measures 8.5 inches (215.9 mm), including the clasp. I would recommend this bracelet for someone with an 8 inch (203.2 mm) or smaller wrist. As with any beadwoven piece, it is advisable not to bathe while wearing this bracelet.
