This illustration by Edmund Dulac (1882 - 1953) appeared in the book *Stories from Hans Andersen* and is called "The Fairy's Shimmering Garment". I have also seen this image referred to as "The Fairy Drew Back the Branches".

Size: 7.5" x 6" (19 cm x 15 cm)

I have gone into my archives and unearthed a stash of vintage Green Tiger Press ephemera that I am listing in my Etsy shop.

The last two photos feature collages of additional images.

This full-color postcard is printed on card stock and the reverse is blank except for the descriptive text giving details about the illustration in the lower left-hand corner.

This image was exactingly reproduced by the legendary Green Tiger Press La Jolla, San Diego County, California, in-house on a four-color Heidelberg printing press presided over by a skilled pressman, Albert, in the early 1980's: this is an authentic vintage postcard displaying all the attention to detail for which the Green Tiger Press was justifiably famous.

I worked for the Green Tiger Press for a short time when I first moved to California and was an avid collector of their images from children's books. When the business was sold in the mid-1980's, I went to their closing sale and stocked up on books, notecards, bookplates, and postcards.

I do have more of these in stock, so if you would like multiples, please send me a message through the Etsy conversations feature and I will update my listing for the amount you would like.

Shipping will be by First Class U.S. mail with Delivery Confirmation; upgrades to Priority Mail and insurance can be arranged. I am happy to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases on any items in my shop.
