Knitting Project Bag - Ducks and Friends - Vintage fabric quilt top

Description

This one-of-a-kind bag is perfect for small knitting and crochet projects like socks or scarves. There's plenty of room for your phone and wallet, so you can use it on it's own, or to separate all those WIPs in your big knitting bag. I have about three in mine at the moment. It also makes a great purse or makeup bag.

This unfinished quilt top from the 1940s/50s has been finished in my own way. I think its original creator would be pleased that her hard work (most of the pieces are sewn together by hand!) and beautiful fabric scraps were being enjoyed by her fellow handicrafters and vintage fabric lovers. All of the fabrics have a different texture and it has a soft, worn feel that adds so much to its appeal.

*Please note: Due to it's vintage nature, there may be small stains or frayed bits here and there, but the fabric was washed before it was sewn.*

The bag is also lined with vintage fabric and has a sturdy fabric drawstring closure that keeps the bag closed and is comfortable to carry.

Measures approximately 10.5" x 10" (26.7cm x 25.4cm).

In the interest of full disclosure, mine is not a pet-free home. In fact, it's rather pet-full. Although everything has been washed and generously massaged with a lint roller, chances are good that there will be a stray cat hair here and there. I apologize for any inconvenience. The cats refuse to comment.
