The Letter H
Description
This is a block featuring the letter H--the sign for H in American Sign Language (ASL) and then the letter "H" printed in red. Taken from my ASL screenprint. It's printed then dyed with tea and adhered to the painted red wood block, then finished with a layer of beeswax and resin. I'll be making more letters but it's slow-going so bear with me. This one measures approximately 2" X 2 3/8" and is about 3/4" deep. There's a sawtooth hanger on the back so it's ready for the wall, or perches nicely. FYI this is a sample photo; I will make this block to order but it will be nearly identical.Added on Oct 18, 2009
