Vintage Japanese kimono silk fabric panel pink sakura cherry blossom waves
Description
Beguiling, wide-eyed sakura (cherry blossoms) dance among the waves. Bright pink, deep red, white and soft gray provide a suitable background. Very good condition with the exception of a smudge and some needle holes.Measurements: 14.5" x 38" (37 cm x 97 cm)
This panel of silk was carefully unpicked from a vintage haori (kimono jacket), a process that takes on average two hours per garment. As with any vintage textile, signs of age and wear are to be expected.
