Whimsical Bird Pin - Peachfaced Lovebird Collage in Clay to Wear

This whimsical bird pin is part of my "Flights of Fancy" series, which are each one of a kind and handmade with care from polymer clay, sculpted without molds, then impressed with stamps and various odds and ends to give the pieces great texture. I love the look of collage and altered art, and I think this series reflects that.

Metallic powders highlight the surface of this sweet bird, and it is sealed with a matte finish, although the metallic sheen still shines through. This little parrot has a glass bead for an eye, and holds a little charm with the word LOVE that dangles.

This lightweight pin measures just about 2 & 1/4 inches in length, so keep in mind that the photos show it highly magnified.

She comes with her own little box, which will be tied with ribbon, perfect for gift giving.

This pin will be mailed in a padded mailer First Class. If you prefer Priority Mail or would like insurance added, please contact me and I will be happy to apply it for you.
