The outside is made from a sage colored vinyl so keeping it clean is an easy chore. Just wipe it down with a wet cloth. It's also super sturdy. I've been carrying mine around for over a year now and it's stuffed full with cards and receipts. It's never even broke a stitch. You also never have to worry about losing anything as it closes with 2 turquoise snaps.
