Handspun 'Embers' - Merino/Silk Yarn

- 210 yds, 2-ply, 12wpi, sport/DK weight
- Red, Black, a touch of white (from the silk)
- Merino wool and silk

- I spun this soft, drapy yarn on my Schacht Matchless spinning wheel. It is soft enough for next-to-skin projects, and has enough yardage for a scarf, a pair of mittens, or a luscious cowl. It is ONE complete skein, no knots. Perfect for knitting, crochet, or weaving projects.

***I have two of these skeins available. The price is for ONE 210 yard skein, though you may certainly purchase both for a larger project.***

This yarn will felt. If you do not wish your project to felt, please handwash in cool water with no agitation and lay flat to dry.

Handspun yarns are unique and are not the same as mill spun yarns. A slight variation in thickness throughout the skein is characteristic of handspun yarn and is not considered a defect.
