Stones

Description

Stones are commonly used for remembrances, reminders, tokens of the past or future. The stones in this necklace are all in the rust/wine/red family. They are both natural cuts and polished cuts. They include agates, muscovite, carnelian, goldstone, lamp work glass and brass beauties in between, wire wrapped with tarnish free brass wire. One of these little beauties, the lower left dangle is one I brought home from Paris with me after bargaining with a street vendor for it. I hated to let it go but it fit so perfectly in its current place.

All of the brass beads are vintage as is the beautifully embossed gold plated chain. I believe the chain was a watch fob chain because of the unique and very old alligator clasp. The clasp fastens on the side and is extremely secure.

The bottom pendants are all wire wrapped with little charms wired onto one side. It is impossible to describe all of the little intricacies of this necklace.

This is an elegant showpiece that will enhance all the right outfits and look lovely on natural skin. The length without dangles is about 17 inches. The longest dangle adds about 4 inches.

All stones securely wire wrapped in non-tarnish brass wire.
