My Beloved- Purse

Description

This purse is made with Dupioni silk, inside and out. It has a cotton batting fill for strength and durability.
The front is beaded, I made a beaded band around the top above a pleated "skirt". The side has a flower made with the same fabric and pearl center. I finished it off with a pearl dangle at the bottom point.
The size is 9" wide and 11" deep, the perfect size for an evening bag...not too small, but big enough to carry a few things! I made the handle with pearls and bead spacers.
This is an elegant, stunning and well made purse. The color, an Ecru/very light beige, will go perfectly with any number of outfits. Perfect for a wedding or special occasion!
It is much prettier in person...the photo can't capture the elegance of this purse!
