Natural Silk Doublecloth Scarf

Gorgeous, Ethereal! I had this woven for my fashion line by Calcutta Weavers. If you are a dyer, surface designer, or felter, this is a really cool textile blank to paint, embellish or print.

Both layers are natural color silk and are woven at the same time on the loom. There is no seam, it is all one piece. When you separate the layers, you get an floaty etheral look. The weave structure is plain weave, sett is random to create the loose effect. But it is really strong, despite the translucence.

Twist it, tie it wear it as a wonderful fashion accessory.

The scarf measures 68 inches long and 18 inches wide. It has a fringe (not included in measurement) 100% Silk
