Bliss Bros Pansy Vintage Enamel Compact

I have a few vintage compacts to share with you over the next few months and this one is a beauty.

It's by Bliss Brothers who sold compacts from the 1930's to the 1950's. It features a lovely pink and yellow pansy with little green leaves surrounding it on a white background. I looked at it with a loupe and it is hand painted enamel on metal. The sides and bottom are pale yellow. It's just so pretty !

It's approximately 2-1/4 inches.

As you can see from the pictures, this compact is in very good condition except for some loss of goldtone on the top rim of the compact. It still has the original Bliss Bros paper tag and the rouge still has the Bliss imprint. It is also marked B.B. Co on the metal.

I am not a compact expert. I have tried to describe this lovely to the best of my ability. However, I have checked out other Bliss compacts, rather rare as they may be, and believe me, I'm offering a very good price for a highly collectible compact. Please look at the pictures carefully.
