This is the perfect wreath for your cottage, shabby chic, French flea market, Paris apartment, or vintage style decor. Hang a beautiful wreath or two at your wedding... Hang them on the doors of your church, or at the reception... or use to add vintage charm to your summer soirees... wherever you desire soft, creamy, dreamy, vintage whites.

This particular wreath is approximately 16" in diameter. It is made from pages of a book called The New Phonetic Chardenal and is dated 1946. I don’t destroy perfectly good books as a rule, and use books that are falling apart, have pages missing, or are damaged in one way or another.

I have hand rolled each page and attached them in layers to a lightweight base. The base is covered with pages from the same book. The centerpiece is an original vintage bookplate that has been surrounded by a hand pleated crepe paper ruffle. A wire hanger is attached to the base on the back. This wreath can hang as is, or loop a vintage ribbon through the wire hanger and hang from the ribbon. Each wreath is signed and dated on the back, as well as having the name and date of the book used.
