Micro Mini Koi Pond Necklace, sterling silver (3)

Description

Meet the new "upgraded" version of my mini koi pond necklaces!

This 25x18mm silver pendant holds a micro koi pond- the tiny koi is only 1/2" long! A delicate 17" (with 2" extension) chain completes the necklace, with a little pewter fish charm dangling from the extension. The entire necklace (other than the clay pond and fish charm) is solid sterling silver.

I sculpted the lily pads and koi from colored polymer clay, and added markings to the fish with a high-quality acrylic paint that has been heat set for durability. I used a filigree design to create the spiraling water- coiling, placing and cutting each strand of shimmery clay by hand. Two coats of sealant should help protect it, but avoid exposing it to water and extreme heat or cold.
