Set of Smooshed Salad Plates

Description

Each plate is rolled out, hand cut, and formed. They are very very thin and light. These two are just shy of 8" and created using my "smooshed technique" with brown and white clays. Each are glazed in clear and have strange specks and spots of blue on them. They are the Perfect size for salad or dessert plates!

I use mine every day, and love that any guests I have over have their own unique plate for the evening so no questions as to whose pound cake with strawberries is whose!


PS: Each plate is individually made and therefore variations will occur and they stack pretty well together, but not perfectly. They are dishwasher safe.

They are BASICALLY microwave safe; I only microwave mine for 30 seconds at a time, to check the food and the plate to see if they are hot or getting too hot. I have yet to have a problem, but the darker the glaze the faster the plate heats up due to the chemicals in the glaze.
