Fly High Butterfly, handmade collage card

Description

I use beautiful materials, my artist's sense of design and careful craftsmanship to make my collages & collage cards. The title of this piece is "Fly High Butterfly." I collaged the beautiful butterfly onto a miniature original watercolor painting. The hand torn edges of the watercolor paper are a charming element. I love the simplicity of this piece.

The close-up view lets you see the detail and the care with which I combine the elements.
I sign every card.

Each card is finished when it is as beautiful as I can make it.

I added the title. I always sign my collage cards in pencil, and include the © symbol and sometimes the year. The copyright symbol © on the card shows that I reserve all rights to my work. This means that no one may copy my work without my specific written permission.

This card is blank inside to receive your special message. The card itself is ivory acid-free card stock. The identifying information on the back side is printed on my Epson C88+ printer using DuraBrite ink. This is the best technology available, and clearly identifies your card as an original. With each card I include a brief statement about the cards. This statement is on a separate piece of paper. It is shown in a detail view.

Sending a unique handmade card adds a special personal touch to any occasion. Keeping several blank cards on hand will save you hours of shopping for just the right card and the right message.

Your simple, heartfelt message, even if it is just one or two words, means more than any preprinted message.

For birthday, anniversary, congratulations on any occasion, thank you, invitation...Write your message inside. There might be room for you to write a few words on the front. I usually write the recipients name and "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations" or whatever is appropriate to the occasion.

The recipient will treasure the card for its beauty, and your personal touch. Some people choose to frame them.

This card is 5" wide x 6.5" tall. The envelope is slightly larger. Card & envelope are packaged in a clear envelope, to protect them until you use them.

This card will be shipped to you in a padded envelope, via USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation tracking. I always mail within 72 hours, but usually the next day. I charge $2.00 for shipping these cards, whether you purchase one or many. If you purchase several items at the same time, the shopping cart will handle shipping automatically
