Description

A brilliant champagne citrine delicately hangs alongside a rhodolite garnet briolette on a fine 14k gold filled leverback earwire. The fall-coloured gemstones recall the warm glow of autumn.

Rhodolite garnet tends to be lighter in color than most other kinds of red garnet. It can be easily confused with ruby because of the similarity in color. The mixture of red and violet in rhodolites is highly desirable and popular.

The lot of champagne citrines that I've used in this collection has a slight pink tone which I haven't seen anywhere else, making their sparkle and depth much greater.

These earrings are very simple and alluring. They look best in daylight, and the garnet refracts light as if through stained glass.

14k gold leverbacks are available for a small additional fee.
