THE RAVEN KING
This yarn took the theme of crow feathers, with glints of iridescence in the black.
The Raven King in Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is one of my favorite literary characters, partly because of the shadow and mystery surrounding him.
When thinking of tributing that book I immediately took on the theme of the raven as my favorite: the challenge of mimicking feathers glinting with sun but still dark was helped by the more shiny fibers I found in a stash a friend gave to me.
There are touches of green, purple, brilliant red, blue, and a lot of shiny gray-blue.
