Description

This piece depicts a scorched shrub - a bottlebrush - after the terrible bush fires near Kilmore last summer. I worked from a photo that I took at a road stop a month or so after the fires. Some of the trees had burnt into the shape of the direction the fire had swept through in. I have tried to capture that.

This is the second state of this print. There are four unique state prints in my collection that are similar, but not identical, to this one.

Paper size - 76cm x 56cm
Prints this size are posted with care in a large cardboard tube.
