Horcrux Locket - Necklace

Description

I have sculpted the "S" snake setting in the locket with resin, and covered it with Krylon 18kt gold leafing paint that has been sealed to protect it. The gold setting is very smooth and shiny. The jewels are beveled, transparent resin rhinestones that were also hand-crafted by me.

In the book the locket is described as being gold with a serpentine "S" with green emeralds. When Ron was possessed by the locket his eyes were described as having a trace of scarlet, so I have represented this by giving the snake red eyes. I've made this locket to be as accurate as possible to how it's described in the book.

The locket itself is made of brass with a gold finish, and is 1 5/8" x 2" and is 1/2" thick. The locket is strung on an 18" gold-plated chain necklace. It has a very sturdy hinge that opens to reveal space for two photos. The sides and back of the locket are embossed with a delicate eye-catching design.
