belt - quilted - 40 inches long

Description

This quilted belt was made with a leftover quilted piece (from a quilt listed in the shop http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25516123). Vintage creamy white bed linen with yellow/blue floral print. Also, on the front is a pieced section using 3 more pieces of yellow/blue/green vintage bed linens. It is edged in navy/royal blue bias tape and held together by a vintage yellow/white round buckle.

Late one night while I was cleaning off my sewing table I just couldn't throw away such a big piece of wonderful quilted fabric......buckle, bias tape....viola....a belt!!

measurements - -
40.5" from tip of buckle to tip of belt
1 3/4" wide
2 1/4" round buckle

ssshhh......when my daughter sees this, she may claim it. I do have another piece that I would like to make another belt, different buckle of course.
