Froggy Went A Courting - Glass Button Brooch

....and he did ride...ah,huh! If you are a collector of all things froggy, here is the perfect brooch for you. And even if you're not a collector of frogs, still a unique and conversational piece. This brooch is made from a beautiful Czech glass button with the impression of a green and gold frog. The background of the button has incredible color and changes as the light hits it from different angles....sometimes golden raspberry and others golden lime. I've tried to capture this best as possible in the pictures.

I have surround the button with a hand embroidered bezel of 6/0 gold and 11/0 dark raspberry seed beads. The edge of the brooch is trimmed with a woven roped edge of metallic gold 15/0 seed beads that gives it a very elegant and vintage look.

Back of brooch is finished with a faux leather fabric and measures 2" across.
