Remember the bonnets our grandmother’s use to wear? Or how about Paddington Bears hat? Paddington was inspired by these childhood memories. The super bulky yarn made this a very fast project and if you’re a very fast knitter, this is a day project. The brim on this hat can be rolled up for a very stylish look, or brought all the way down to provide warmth on those cold winter days.

This pattern is a “floppy” style hat and can be altered to fit your personality by decreasing the brim rows and the top so that it is not as “deep” (see photo of hat in RED).

This pattern requires 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, size US 11 16" circular needle and 1 set of size US 11 DPNs.
