Bert and Gert are a pair of down-to-earth people. Both of them spend their days working hard and don't mind getting their hands dirty, especially Bert. His hands were made for work. What's a little dirt to hands that were made to toil.

If you need the yard cleaned - no problem. Need the barn repaired - no problem. Need the house painted - no problem.

Need the leaky pipes fixed - no problem. Need the field plowed - no problem. Haying - no problem as long as Gert helps him.

According to Gert and Bert - a little dirt never hurt anyone. They feel it's a badge of honor to have dirt under their finger nails.
