Gypsy Queen ....OOAK Horse and Rider

Description

Gypsy Queen is an original sculpture using a combination of fabric and paper mache. The rider is a hand sewn soft sculpture with a skin of velour over a wire armature, black mohair hair and painted eyes; scraps of satin, stretch knit and felt were used to create her clothing and embroidered blanket.
Paper mache pulp over a skeleton of fabric and wire with a "skin" of paperclay and acrylic paints were used to create the black & white Gypsy Vanner horse.
This is a one of a kind sculpture - molds were neither used nor created during construction.

The rider is a approximately 8 inches tall and the horse is approximately 10 inches tall and 14 inches long.
