I love the heart on this necklace! It's a lampwork heart that I made in my home studio. The heart is 2 1/4 inches long. I wire wrapped it, and I added some Czeck glass beads. I wasn't sure how to hang this necklace, so I felted some wool yarn and made the cord. I love the way this wool felted up! If you are allergic to wool, don't consider this necklace unless you want to change the cord. I have tried this type of cord, and I have worn it around my neck. I am not allergic to wool so that was not an issue for me. One interesting thing is that I did not feel an itch from the wool either. I don't know if that's the type of wool, the amount of wool, or none of the above. That is just an observation. Again, if you have issues with wool, I would not recommend that you purchase this necklace unless you plan to change the cord. The cord is 21.5 inches long. I think this heart would look great with jeans or on a casual Friday for work. You might even enjoy wearing it out for an evening of fun.
