the boudoir box of mme cherri waters
Description
quite an unusual find...this round box has what appears to be a handmade pressed leather finish with raised, off-center detailing on the lid with the name "Mme (Mademoiselle) Cherri Waters" set inside an off-kilter signet
tiny diamonds and dots are pressed into the finish to add a bit of embellishment
the leather is a grayish green color slightly reminiscent of Shagreen (shark skin)
the inside of the box is a rich royal blue
box measures 8.5" in diameter, 2.25" high and the inside of the box measures 1.25"
